A student workshop will be hosted at McGill University on Sunday, Sept. 17th from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. The workshop will feature tutorials from top researchers in the field aimed at providing a more detailed overview of a particular aspect of THz Science and Technology. Lunch will be provided in the workshop.
The confirmed list of instructors and topics is:
- Clara Saraceno: High average power, few-cycle terahertz sources and applications
- Andrea Markelz: Terahertz characterization of biomacromolecules and biological water
- Frank Hegmann: Probing ultrafast nanoscale dynamics with terahertz scanning tunneling microscopy
- János Hebling: Tilted pulse front pumped optical rectification-based THz sources
